The State of Tennessee has launched a new website called Tennessee Smart Commute:

Welcome to Tennessee Smart Commute, your clearing house for commuting choices. As we all work together to reduce congestion on our roadways, improve air quality, reduce transportation costs, and provide alternative transportation choices that create a better quality of life throughout our state, Tennessee Smart Commute is your information resource to make this happen.

I was hoping I could put in a starting point and a destination and it would figure out all my options. Instead, it's basically a directory of state and local government websites with info on walking, bicycling, passenger rail, public transportation, and carpooling.

It's well organized and there's a lot of good information on what's available. Walkers, joggers and bicyclists might find those sections especially interesting for recreational purposes as well as commuting.
