Iowa predictions

Today's the big day, when all the talk and ads and stumping and handshaking is over and the candidates meet their first real test in what could shape up to be a historic election. Here are my predictions. Post yours in comments.

Not saying that Clinton won't win the nomination. BC didn't win in Iowa either.

I wasn't even close, except for Edwards at second. Interesting call by Bizgrrl for Clinton in third place. Terry Troll also called it correctly for Richardson at fourth (except for the double digits part). Biden did a lot better than I expected, and Dodd worse. Not sure what happened to Kucinich.

R's not quite as surprising. Thompson did better than I thought he would, McCain not as well. Interesting that "values voters" carried the day. I guess we are over 9/11.

Metulj was pretty close on the Ds over at KnoxViews.

In that same thread Knox Dem Chair Don Daugherty was close on the Rs, and predicted a better showing for Biden than I did and Don was correct on that.

I think everyone was surprised by Clinton's results.
