Hillary in New Orleans: Will speak at State of the Black Union

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will be in New Orleans Saturday as part of Tavis Smiley's State of the Black Union symposium on education, health, housing and other issues affecting African-Americans.
The State of the Black Union 2008 (SOBU) is held today, Saturday, Feb. 23rd, in New Orleans. SOBU is gathering volunteers to work on six projects in the area, Build a Home, Beautify a City Park, Build a Playground, Demolish a Home, Beautify a School Yard & Donate Books, and Build Shelves for Public Library and Donate Books.
Good for her! Not enough is being said or done to help the Gulf Coast recovery. She needs to keep this issue in front of voters. Good for SOBU for doing good work in New Orleans.

She has alway fought for people of all colors, and while she lost Louisiana in the primaries, I hope people remember that she really does care and Barack doesn't, he's already got your votes.

I was hoping to hear from Obama at the State of the Black Union but he wasn't there! I regret voting for him, admist all that excitement that our next president might be black. I forgot that the Clintons have worked so hard for the past couple of decades for our rights, our liberties, and equality. I truly regret that I let this young man, who many have the best intentions, cloud my judgement of someone who's been there. I'm sorry Mrs. Clinton. I wish I could change my vote.
You really show that you're devoted to the rights of all people. I also learned that you have a piece of legislation that you're working on in the senate about job equality for African Americans. That's great that you're still working on that. But today, your attendance at the conference, really showed that you'd take time out of your busy schedule, when you obviously need every minute of to fight her opponent. I guess she's the one who really cares about people, more than getting the title of Madam President.
It makes me wonder if our boy, Barack really deserves it. What has he done in the senate since 2005 that shows that he's been fighting for us? Why do we overwhelmingly support him? Sometimes, I feel it makes us racist, not that we're against him because we're black, but we're voting for him JUST BECAUSE we're black. That's...wrong if we're trying to make changes and not just promote more racism and division.
That she'll let small businesses that were contracted to help her campaign go unpaid so that she can pay her consultants millions. Hey, the consultants are "working people" too!
And second Anonymous...your comment pretty much indicates that you never voted for Obama, you're a desperate Hillary supporter grasping at ANYTHING to sow doubt. That last sentence is a classic Republican talking point.

Troll. This sounds like 'truth squat' material.
